WHAT IS COOKIE DOUGH DIP?
If you haven’t been to a party where cookie dough dip was served you have been missing out on a wonderful dessert.
We know how much everyone loves to eat cookie dough and some brilliant person decided to make the cookie dough into a dip. Cookie dough dip tastes very similar to cookie dough with the main difference being in the thickness and texture.
This dessert dip is creamier and not as thick as cookie dough. It is more of a “dip” consistency that allows for dipping items into the bowl. If you want to try an edible cookie dough, try this Edible Sugar Cookie Dough.
IS COOKIE DOUGH DIP SAFE TO EAT?

HOW TO MAKE CREAM CHEESE MONSTER COOKIE DOUGH DIP
One thing I love about this dip recipe is that it is EASY to make. It can be made up in advance and pulled out of the refrigerator when you are ready to serve it!
STEP ONE: BEAT INGREDIENTS
Start off by combining the softened cream cheese, peanut butter and butter in a large bowl.
Use an electric mixer or a stand mixer to beat these ingredients until they are completely combined. This usually takes about 2 minutes.
STEP TWO: ADD SUGAR
Now add the powdered sugar and the brown sugar to the bowl and beat for an additional minute to combine.
If you want to add flour to the dip recipe for the added texture now is the time to add it.
PLEASE NOTE: the flour MUST be cooked before adding it to the mixture. Uncooked flour can contain harmful bacteria. Cook the flour for 2 minutes in the microwave or for 10 minutes in the oven at 350°F, stirring once. Personally, I just leave it out!
STEP THREE: ADD REMAINING INGREDIENTS
Add the vanilla extract and salt and mix these in well.
Pour in the M&M’s and chocolate chips and stir to combine.
Refrigerate the dip until ready to serve.
This dip is wonderful served with pretzels, graham cracker sticks, or even cookies! It would be a perfect dip on this Sweet Charcuterie Board.
