This easy homemade coconut shrimp recipe only takes four steps and you will be eating delicious coconut breaded shrimp.
Step 1: Make the sauce
In a saucepan over medium-high heat, combine all the sauce ingredients and bring to a boil. Once boiling, cut the heat and let it sit.
Step 2: Prepare the dredge for the shrimp
In 3 bowls, whisk the eggs, mix the flour and cornstarch, and mix the coconut and panko.
Step 3: Bread the shrimp
Dip the shrimp in the flour and cornstarch bowl, then in the egg wash bowl, and then finally in the panko coconut bowl.
Step 4: Air Fryer the shrimp
Place battered shrimp in air fryer basket and spray with oil. Cook on 390 for 7 minutes.
