15 Money Saving Websites You Should Be Using

You can hang on to a lot more of your dollars if you shop using money saving websites. You just need to know which ones they are!

If you love to shop but also love to save money, you need to be using these money saving websites.

Money Saving Websites

Everyone loves to save money (if you don’t, please let me know and I’ll give you my address so you can send any unwanted money my way). The problem is that finding great deals and discounts takes time and effort.

Since I’m short on time and fairly lazy, I like to find quicker, easier ways to sniff out the best bargains. Here are my favorite money saving websites.

For Kids

KidsMealDeals.com: Type in your zip code and find all the restaurants that offer free or deeply discounted meals for kids on certain days of the week.

Zulily:  If you have young children, you know how much gear they need. Zulily will help you get it all without spending a fortune.

For Entertainment

Groupon: This is a great site for finding deals on dining and entertainment near you. They also feature deals on other services and products.  All of their deals are usually at a fantastic discount.

Living Social:  Like Groupon, the deals on this site are tailored to your geographic location.  Each day new deals in your area are posted for restaurants, spas, travel, stores, and other local products and services.

For Travel

Kayak:  If you are shopping for airline tickets, your best bet for finding the lowest price is to shop multiple sites. Kayak allows you to do that on one site.  You enter the information once and it automatically searches several popular travel sites at once.

For the Fashionista

Fab:  If you have an eye for design, or simply enjoy well-made products, this is the deal site for you.

Shop It To Me: Love fashion but don’t have time to shop? Simply tell Shop It To Me your favorite designers and your sizes and they’ll alert you whenever something you’d like goes on sale.

For Gift Cards

CardCash: Stock up on gift cards at a discounted rate or sell your unwanted gift cards for places you will never shop.

For Coupons and Coupon Codes

RetailMeNot:  This isn’t the first time I have mentioned this website and it’s because it bears repeating.  Search for coupon codes or printable coupons for any store.  I do not make an online purchase without first checking this site for a coupon code.

CouponCabin: Want to use coupons but don’t want to visit 20 different sites to find all of the ones you want? Just check CouponCabin to find the best coupons available on the web for everything from gym memberships to toilet paper.

For the Best Deals on Everything

Slickdeals: Although Slickdeals is a great site for finding deals, the best feature of the website is the user interaction.  The site has one of the most active user communities among deal sites so you can read comments (and share your own) on products, deals, and companies.

DealNews: Scours the internet for you to find the best deals.  They verify all of them (lowest price AND reputable seller) so you can buy with confidence if you click on one of their links.

Ben’s Bargains: Don’t want to miss out on a great deal of the day but unwilling to surf all the different websites to check them all each day?  Let DODTracker do all the work for you and then you only have to visit one site to scan all the daily deals.

Giving Assistant: This is the very best type of savings because while you have money, you’re also supporting nonprofit organizations! You’ll find amazing deals on almost everything from retailers and brands you already love.

I know there are thousands of other money saving websites out there so this isn’t meant to be an all-inclusive list. If you have a favorite deal site that you love and trust, please share it with us in the comments.
