How to Make Instant Pot Everything Bagel Chicken
This Instant Pot Everything Bagel comes together in just a few simple steps, and when you follow these steps you will be so glad that you did.
Step 1: Mix cream cheese and seasoning.
Mixed together your cream cheese, red pepper flakes, and 1.5 tablespoon of everything but the bagel seasoning.
Step 2: Score the chicken
Score each chicken breast about eight times. Depends on how large your breast is.
Step 3: Add cream cheese to the chicken
Between each score, add in your cream cheese mixture.
Step 4: Grind the bagel seasoning
Take 2 tablespoons of your everything but the bagel seasoning and add to your food processor. If you do not have one, you can use the back of your spoon or a knife to create a finer texture. Add on top of each chicken breast.
Step 5: Wrap the chicken breast
Create a boat with your aluminum foil with the chicken breast inside each one.
Step 6: Prep the chicken breasts
Add one and a half cups of water to your instant pot. Place the trivet inside and add each chicken breast covered in aluminum foil to your instant pot. If you have a tall trivet, you can add that in for the third breast to rest on. If not, they can lay on top of one another.
Step 7: Cook the chicken
Cook for 18 minutes on high pressure.
Step 8: Release the pressure
Once the chicken is done, allow them to naturally release for about five minutes, followed by a manual release by pulling the valve to release pressure.
Step 9: Check the temperature of the chicken
Insert a food thermometer to make sure that each chicken breast is 165°.
Step 10: Top the chicken with more seasoning
You can top each chicken with a little bit more seasoning, or chicken flakes. I like to eat it with a side of salad, a baked potato, or macaroni salad! Enjoy!

Tips
Ready to make this cream cheese chicken recipe? Here are some tips to help make sure that your chicken turns out well.
- Make sure that you cover up the chicken with aluminum foil because it will help keep the moisture in during cooking. This will result in a more tender baked-in flavor not dried out chicken.
- The recipe calls for 3 chicken breasts, but that can easily be increased. I suggest doubling the recipe if you are cooking more than three at a time.
- This recipe can be cooked in a slow cooker if you do not have an instant pot. Use the same ingredients and cook on high for four hours or low for eight hours. Follow all steps above.
