Making Beef Roast in the Air Fryer

I don’t know about you but I love a traditional roast beef recipe, but I don’t always have the time and patience it takes to roast one in the oven. When you cook this beef in your air fryer you get a tender roast that’s juicy, and comes together in a fraction of the time as a traditional roast.

🥘 Ingredients

Air Fryer Beef Roast ingredients.

This air fryer beef recipe only requires three simple ingredients. You won’t regret making a trip to the grocery store to pick up the beef tenderloin to cook this roast in the air fryer.

  • beef loin: You will want to purchase a beef loin that has been marinated in beef stock; or, see the tips section of this post for directions on marinating.
  • steak seasonings: You will need a small amount of your favorite steak seasoning. If you don’t have a favorite, I like the McCormick Montreal Steak Seasoning on my beef.
  • butter: I prefer to use salted butter, not margarine, for the best flavor in this recipe.

See the printable recipe card for quantities.

🔀 Substitutions

Beef: I prefer to use a loin roast because it is the most tender, but you could use a chuck roast, shoulder roast or your favorite cut of beef instead. However, you may need to adjust the cook time depending on your cut of beef.

Seasonings: If you want to season the roast with a different flavor, feel free to use your preferred seasoning. Garlic pepper would be delicious used in this recipe.

👩‍🍳 Pro Tips

Here are a few tips that you can use to make sure this roast turns out perfectly when you cook it.

  • Don’t skip preheating the air fryer, it’s essential that the air fryer basket is warm when you place the roast in it to give you the best results.
