  • 2 cups of Red Candy Melts
  • 2 cups of Hot Chocolate Mix
  • 2 cups of Mini Marshmallows
  • ¼ cup of White Candy Melts
  • Mickey Mouse Sprinkles
  • Chocolate Jimmies Sprinkles

Equipment

  • Bath bomb or cake pop mold

How to Make Mickey Christmas Hot Cocoa Bombs

Once you have everything listed above, you’re ready to get started! Here’s what you’ll need to do:

Step One

Put the red candy melts into a microwave save bowl and melt in the microwave. Be certain to follow the directions on the package.

Step Two

Once the red candy is melted, you’re going to add some to half of the bomb mold. Spread it out thickly over all the area, even up the sides. Do this with all the molds.

Step three

Pop the molds in the freezer for 5 minutes.

Step four

Take out of the freezer and give the sides a tap. Push on one side of the chocolate mold to slide them out.

Step five

Fill half of the molds (6) with 1 teaspoon sprinkles, 2 tablespoons of hot chocolate mix, and up to 8 mini marshmallows.

Step six

Take and heat a plate in the microwave for a few seconds of time to make the plate warm to the touch. Once warm, take one of the empty halves and press on the plate. This will melt the edge of the mold.

Once melted, press on top of the other filled half of the cocoa bomb.

Step seven

Put the white chocolate in the microwave and melt it according to the directions. Once melted use a fork and drizzle over the top of the cocoa bombs and sprinkle with the Mickey sprinkles.

Step eight

Put the cocoa bombs in the freezer for 5 minutes. When you’re ready to use, just add to a mug and pour 2 cups of hot milk over the top.
