These Family Activity Advent Cards are a fun and easy way to knock out a holiday bucket list. They make counting down to Christmas a memory-making family event.

I’m a list maker, partly because I love the satisfaction of checking off items and mostly because I’m forgetful and need written reminders. Unfortunately, I often take my family for granted and our quality time gets neglected.
That’s why I create bucket lists for every season. This way I have a visual reminder (and goals) to prioritize family time.
Family Activity Advent Cards
Although I already had a Winter Bucket List, I wanted to do something special leading up to Christmas. Based on the popularity of my Random Acts of Kindness Christmas Calendar for Kids, I was inspired to come up with more Advent activities for kids and parents to enjoy together.
These family activity advent cards contain dozens of different fun family holiday activities. 60 ideas in all, plus 12 blank cards so you can write in your own ideas.

How to Use the Family Activity Advent Cards
Just print the cards on regular letter size paper, then cut them out. Here are a few ways to use them after you’ve cut out the cards:
1. As an Advent Calendar
Choose 25 of your favorite activities from the cards. Turn them over and number them randomly from 1 – 25. Then, slide each card into an advent calendar pocket.
2. In an Activity Jar
Fold each card and place them all inside a large jar. Draw one randomly each day leading up to Christmas and perform the activity.
3. Create a Holiday Album
Take turns choosing an activity each day and capture your activity on camera. Place the activity card and the corresponding pictures in an album to remember your holiday festivities for years to come.

Another great family activity is to do random acts of kindness together. Every month I create a new kindness calendar based on the special observances of that month. Check out all of my monthly acts of kindness calendars.
