WHY GIVE TEACHERS GIFTS?

Teachers have a very thankless job. They are with our children for more waking hours each day than we are most of the time.

There are a lot of articles about the types of gifts teachers actually want to receive. Most of the teachers I have talked to over the years have indicated that they like to get practical and useful gifts.

One of the easiest ways to find out what kind of items your teacher loves is to just have them complete a teacher’s favorite things survey.

I have found that my children’s teachers love to get small useful items like this hand sanitizer teacher gift.

The gift is something they NEED and USE all the time. Receiving a small gift reminds them that they are appreciated and cared about!

Feeling appreciated is one of the most important things for an employee.

SUPPLIES NEEDED FOR A HAND SANITIZER TEACHER GIFT

This DIY gift idea only requires 5 supply items. It is simple to make multiple gifts if you plan to give these to a lot of the school staff.

HOW TO MAKE HAND SANITIZER TEACHER GIFT

If you have five minutes you have time to make an easy teacher gift.

PRINT TAG

I have an adorable printable tag for the hand sanitizer gifts. The tag says “call on my when you need a hand” and it goes perfectly with a bottle of hand sanitizer.

There are 3 tags on the PDF. Print as many copies as you will need.

I like to print these off on white cardstock so they are sturdy. After printing these off use scissors or a paper trimmer to cut the tags apart.

Print the tags by filling in the form below.

HOLE PUNCH

Now use a regular sized hole punch to punch a hole in the corner of the gift tag.

ATTACH TAG

Take a piece of ribbon and thread it through the hole and tie it onto the top of the hand sanitizer bottle. Tie it into a bow and you are done! Give this to the teacher on the first day of school or anytime during the school year.
