I feel like these cupcakes are even easy enough that I’m pretty sure a kiddo could make these easy Christmas lights cupcakes. If your kiddo can squeeze a decorating bag, they can help make these.

Even if they’re not able to squeeze the black writing gel, they can definitely put the sprinkles on the top of the cupcake.

So, this is definitely a recipe worth letting them help make!

How to Make Christmas Lights Cupcakes

Step 1

Follow the directions on the cake mix box for cupcakes.

Be sure to cool the cupcakes completely before decorating. Warm cupcakes will melt the frosting and leave you with a mess!

Step 2

With your largest decorating tip, press into the top of the cupcake off-center, creating a well. Save hole tops.
