Fall is my favorite time of year thanks to the crisp air and beautiful colors of changing leaves. This year I decided to welcome my favorite season with a small, impromptu celebration. I had some apples from a recent visit to a nearby apple orchard and wanted to incorporate them into our party so I threw together an easy, healthy pumpkin pie dip to serve with them. Read on to find out how I managed the fastest and simplest fall party prep ever.
My pumpkin dip was inspired by a recent trip to my local Giant store, where I saw this mouthwatering display of Limited Edition items available for fall. They incorporated this amazing fall flavor and scent into everything from dish detergent to pasta sauce! This was the springboard to my streamlined fall party prep.
I went a little crazy since there were so many choices, and ended up coming home with this assortment of pumpkin-themed goodies.
We affectionately dubbed our party “Pumpkin Palooza” in honor of all the delicious pumpkin treats I’d discovered.
Pumpkin Treats And Decor
I set out the Pumpkin Hummus on a plate surrounded by Pumpkin Seed Tortilla Chips. On a separate plate, I arranged some Pumpkin Cheesecake Cookies. Then, I sliced some of our orchard apples and arranged them around the edge of another platter, leaving space for the Healthy Pumpkin Pie Dip I whipped up with canned pumpkin and Pumpkin Greek Yogurt.
To round out are party table, I added some of the miniature pumpkins I’d found in the produce section of Giant. And I set out fall-colored flutes to hold some of the yummy Pumpkin Sparkling Spiced Cider I’d picked up.
This fall party prep literally took me less than 10 minutes!
Most of my time was spent just arranging the food on the platters since most of it was ready to serve. The only thing I had to prepare was the pumpkin pie dip which only took a minute since it only contains 5 ingredients. I didn’t even tell my kids it was healthy since they were convinced it tasted just like pumpkin pie!
