If our eyes are the windows to our soul, mine are telling the world that I’m a tired, old soul. While I’m happy with the life I’ve lead and I intend to age gracefully, I’d like my appearance to align with my perception of myself which is a healthy, vibrant 40-something.

Under-eye bags and dark circles were crushing that image. Since I’ve been on a huge essential oils kick in my effort to reduce the number of chemicals in our home, I decided to put some of them to use to help get rid of those bags under my eyes.

For this homemade eye firming cream, I used several essential oils with anti-aging properties. If you don’t have all of the essential oils, you can simply increase the amount of the other essential oils.

Don’t mess with the quantities or ingredients though when it comes to the other ingredients. They are needed in the amounts listed in order to get the right texture for the cream.

How to Make Homemade Eye Firming Cream

As a mom of 5, I’m way too tired and busy to spend a ton of time or effort on anything. That’s why most of the tips I share on this site are intentionally quick and easy.

The last thing you want to do when making something to wake up your tired eyes is to spend a bunch of time you don’t have on it. Rest assured, you can make this homemade eye firming cream in just a few minutes and with very little effort, just like my other Homemade Beauty Products!

Gather the Supplies

You’ll need a few basic supplies for this homemade eye firming cream:

glass jars and a white bowl with shea butter, coconut oil and beeswax in them, green and yellow measuring spoons, five bottles of essential oils, five small glass jars all on a green linen on a wood table

Step 1 – Melt the Wax

Combine the shea butter, coconut oil and beeswax in a small microwave-safe bowl.

Place the bowl in the microwave and set the time for 30 seconds. Stir and continue heating in 30-second intervals until everything is melted.

Step 2 – Add Oils

Next, add the Vitamin E oil.

And finally, the essential oils.

Whisk all of the oils together.

Step 3 – Add to Containers

Now, you just need to add the mixture to the cosmetic containers. Use a dropper to avoid spills and fill to 3/4 full.

  1. Hi Corinne!
I am so glad I found you 🤗
    I love your website
I was wondering if I can make the eye cream without the raspberry oil or use something else instead. I almost bought it but it says is a refined oil.
Thank you so much for all you share.
