For the Matcha Tea
- 4 tablespoons hot water
- 4 teaspoons matcha powder preferably ceremonial grade
- 4 cups cold water
- Ice for serving
For the Strawberry Cold Foam
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- ½ cup whole milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon strawberry powder**
In a large mixing bowl, combine the heavy cream and whole milk.
Beat for 4 to 5 minutes using a hand mixer or electric frother until soft peaks form.
Add the strawberry powder and vanilla extract.
Continue beating for 1 more minute, until fully combined and light and fluffy.
Spoon the cold foam on top of iced coffee, matcha, or other drinks. Serve immediately.

For a sweeter version, add 1 to 2 teaspoons of maple syrup, honey, or simple syrup before whipping.

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Re-whip lightly before using again.
