Air Fryer Copycat Chick-Fil-A Sandwich

This is the perfect recipe for a copycat chicken sandwich from Chick-Fil-A!

  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 1/4 cup of pickle juice
  • 1/4 cup of water
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup of whole milk
  • 1 cup of flour
  • 2 tablespoons of powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons of corn starch
  • 1 teaspoon of paprika
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon of oil
  • 2 hamburger buns
  • 6 pickle slices

  • Start by putting the chicken into a gallon size bag and pound them out to be about 1/2 inch thick.
  • Once done, cut them up into 4 pieces.
  • Put the chicken back into the bag and then add in the pickle juice and water. Put the bag in the fridge and let the chicken marinate for 30 minutes.
  • At this time, whisk the milk and eggs together.
  • Grab a different bowl and mix in the flour, starch, and all other spices. Grab your chicken and coat with the egg mixture first followed by the flour mixture. Make certain to use cooking oil and spray your air fryer basket.
  • Put the chicken in the basket and also spray the chicken with the cooking spray. Have the temperature set for 340 degrees and cook for 6 minutes. Once done, flip and cook for 6 more minutes at 400 degrees.
  • Put the cooked chicken on your bun and three slices of your dill pickles.
