  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 16 ounce bottle barbecue sauce
  • ½ cup water


  • Add all ingredients to the inner pot of the Instant Pot.
  • Seal the lid of the pressure cooker and turn the valve to sealing.
  • Set the Instant Pot to manual 15 minutes high pressure, and then allow for a natural release to retain optimal moisture.
  • Remove the lid from the pressure cooker and use two forks to shred the chicken.
