Pro Tips
- To avoid lumps when making the pudding, whisk continuously until the pudding thickens.
- Let the pudding set for at least 10 minutes for a thicker consistency.
- Remove the Oreo filling completely to prevent the crumbs from getting sticky.
- Crush the Oreos using a food processor or crush them in a zip-top bag with a rolling pin.
- Add the decorations right before serving so they don’t get soggy.
- Slightly press the Peeps in the pudding to help them stay upright and do the same for the jelly beans to keep them from rolling around.
Recipe FAQs
Can I make these ahead of time?
Yes! You can prepare the pudding cups a few hours in advance, but wait to add the Oreos and toppings until right before serving so they stay fresh.
What's a good dairy-free option?
Use dairy-free pudding (Jell-O instant pudding with almond, oat, or soy milk) and check that your toppings are dairy-free.
Can I make these gluten-free?
Yes! Just swap Oreos for gluten-free chocolate cookies (like gluten-free Oreos or chocolate graham crackers).
