Ingredients

  • 1 ½ tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 ½ tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon oregano
  • 1 teaspoon coriander
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 ½ tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • ¼ tablespoon paprika smoked
  • 1 tablespoon cumin

Instructions

  • Combine all your ingredients in a mixing bowl. Mix. For a finer rub, add the mix to a food processor and process for 45 seconds. This breaks down the brown sugar and incorporates the ingredients finer.

Notes

Store in airtight container for up to 3 months. Use about ¼ cup per whole chicken or 1-2 tablespoons per pound of chicken pieces. Let chicken sit with rub for 30 minutes before cooking for best flavor penetration.
