Ingredients

  • 1 medium head of cabbage
  • 10 slices bacon
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon dried basil
  • ¼ cup Parmesan cheese grated
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 425°F.
  • Core the cabbage and slice it into 10 small wedges.
  • Wrap each wedge of cabbage in a piece of bacon and secure closed with a toothpick if desired.
  • Drizzle the bacon wrapped cabbage wedges with olive oil, then season with paprika, garlic powder, basil, Parmesan, and salt and pepper to taste.
  • Bake for 30 minutes until bacon is crispy and cabbage is tender.

Notes

Use toothpicks to secure bacon if needed. For extra crispy bacon, broil for the last 2-3 minutes. Cut wedges evenly for consistent cooking.
