- 1 medium head of cabbage
- 10 slices bacon
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- ½ teaspoon paprika
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon dried basil
- ¼ cup Parmesan cheese grated
- Salt and pepper to taste
Preheat the oven to 425°F.
Core the cabbage and slice it into 10 small wedges.
Wrap each wedge of cabbage in a piece of bacon and secure closed with a toothpick if desired.
Drizzle the bacon wrapped cabbage wedges with olive oil, then season with paprika, garlic powder, basil, Parmesan, and salt and pepper to taste.
Bake for 30 minutes until bacon is crispy and cabbage is tender.
Use toothpicks to secure bacon if needed. For extra crispy bacon, broil for the last 2-3 minutes. Cut wedges evenly for consistent cooking.
