Ingredients

  • 2/3 cup All-Purpose Flour
  • 1/3 cup Cocoa Powder
  • 1/3 cup Melted Butter
  • 1/2 cup Brown Sugar
  • 1/2 cup White Sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 tablespoons Milk or more as needed
  • 1/2 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • Chocolate Chips as desired

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Spread the flour on a baking sheet and bake for 8 minutes. Stir it once halfway through.
  • Allow your heat-treated flour to cool completely before proceeding with the rest of the recipe.
  • In a medium-sized bowl, beat together butter and sugars until light and fluffy, for about 2 minutes.
  • Beat in the milk and vanilla extract until the batter is well-combined.
  • Whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Then, add to the batter and beat until completely incorporated and no dry streaks remain.
  • Add chocolate chips to taste and stir your batter.
  • Refrigerate until ready to serve.
