Ingredients

  • 1 pre-made pie crust 8-9”
  • 2 cups pre-cooked breakfast sausage crumbled
  • 1 ½ cups shredded cheese
  • ½ white onion diced finely
  • 6 eggs
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon pepper

Instructions

  • Pre-heat the air fryer to 325 degrees F.
  • Roll out the dough and flatten it to fit an 8” pie pan.
  • Place the pie crust in the pie pan and form it to the pan. Cut off the excess crust.
  • Mix the cheese and sausage crumbles., and add them to the pan.
  • In a mixing bowl, whisk the eggs and add the seasoning. Pour the eggs into the pan.
  • Place the pan into the air fryer basket and cook at 325°F for 15 minutes or until the center is firm.
  • Remove the basket from the air fryer and let the quiche cool to allow it to solidify.
  • Enjoy!

Notes

  • Make a batch of mini quiche for parties! To do this, you can use ramekins, mini tart shells, or silicon muffin liners. You can fit about four to six in the air fryer basket. This is also great for meal prep.
  • Line the air fryer basket with a liner or use parchment paper for less mess.
  • Don't add watery ingredients; otherwise, your quiche might turn out to be—you guessed it—watery. If you'll be adding blanched vegetables, make sure to drain off excess water well.
  • Don't overfill the savory egg tarts. Otherwise, it might not be able to hold up its shape. Keep in mind that there must be just enough filling to egg mixture ratio so that it still holds its form.
