Lavender Margarita

Instructions

  • Pour simple syrup onto a small plate.
  • Add the granulated sugar to another small plate.
  • Rim your glass with simple syrup and then dip the rim of your glass in sugar until the entire edge is covered. 
  • Fill your glass 3/4 full with ice.
  • Pour the Tequila, Triple Sec, Sweet and Sour mix, and Lavender syrup into a glass; stir lightly to combine. Top it off with the Cointreau.
  • Garnish with a lime wedge and enjoy.

Notes

  • You can also use this recipe to make a frozen lavender margarita. Just blend all the ingredients together with ice to create a slushy frozen drink. 
  • Add some berries or herbs, like basil or mint, for an extra flare. 
  • If you aren't a fan of a sweet rim, you can rim your glass with salt instead. 
  • You could also garnish with fresh lavender if you want a little extra flare.
