Banana Margarita
This Banana Margarita is sweet, creamy, and super refreshing. It's a great drink to make for Cinco De Mayo.

- 1 shot Tequila
- ½ shot Triple Sec
- 1 large banana
- ⅓ cup coconut cream canned
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 2 cups ice
- Nilla Wafers to top
Peel the banana and add it and the ice to a blender.
In a small bowl, combine the coconut cream and sugar, and mix until the sugar is dissolved.
Pour the coconut cream mixture and vanilla extract into the blender.
Add in the triple sec and tequila.
Blend until combined and the ice is crushed.
Rim the glass with some of the margarita, and then dip the glass in sugar.
Pour margarita into your serving glass.
Garnish with Nilla Wafers and serve.
- Be sure to not over blend the drink as it can make it too frothy.
- Make sure you use a high quality tequila for the best flavor.
- For an extra kick, add a splash of jalapeno or habanero infused tequila.
- Make sure that you use ripe or extra ripe bananas for this recipe.
- You could also garnish your glass with a lime wedge, or lemon slice.
- For even more banana flavor, swap out the triple sec for banana liqueur.
