Air Fryer Brownies

Equipment

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup cocoa
  • ¾ cup flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 tablespoons water
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar garnish

Instructions

  • In a large bowl mix all the brownie ingredients throughly or until the batter is smooth.
  • Allow the batter to rest for five minutes.
  • While the batter rests, preheat the air fryer to 350 degrees F.
  • Spray an 8" pie pan with nonstick cooking spray and pour in the brownie batter.
  • Air fry for 10 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Allow the brownies to cool completely before removing from the pan.
  • Dust the top of the brownies with powdered sugar before cutting into squares.
  • Serve and enjoy.

Notes

  • The batter should be thick and not runny. If it’s too thin, add more flour one tablespoon at a time until desired consistency is reached.
  • Allow the brownies to cool completely before removing from the pan, this will ensure that they hold their shape.
  • If you want to make these brownies gluten free, use your favorite gluten-free flour instead of regular all-purpose flour.
  • If you are doubling this recipe, you will need to bake them in batches.
  • For easy removal you can line your pie plate with parchment paper instead.
  • I love to heat my brownies in the microwave for about 30 seconds and then top with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
  • If you don't have a pie plate, you can use a round cake pan instead, just make sure that it fits in your air fryer basket.
  • You could also add coconut flakes to the brownie batter.
