- 1 butternut squash
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon parsley
To cut the squash into fries, peel the skin from the squash and then split the squash in half vertically. Scoop the seeds out using a spoon.
Then begin to cut the two halves into fries at your desired size and length.
Place the fries into a large bowl, drizzle with oil, and toss.
Season with garlic powder and parsley. Toss once more.
Place the fries into the air fryer basket. Cook at 400°F for 15 minutes, shaking the fries every 5 minutes.
Remove fries and let cool before enjoying with your favorite dip.
- Make sure to cut the fries in even sizes so that they cook evenly.
- Use a good quality oil for maximum flavor.
- Be sure to shake the basket every 5 minutes to ensure that all sides of the fries are crisping up.
- Do not overcrowd the air fryer basket. If needed, cook the fries in batches.
- Serve these crispy butternut squash fries with your favorite dip. Try Greek yogurt ranch dip, ketchup, or honey mustard sauce for something different.
