Air Fried Chicken Wrap

Ingredients

  • 1 chicken breast cut into strips
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1/2 cup cornstarch
  • 3 tablespoons nature’s seasoning
  • 1/4 cup Caesar dressing
  • 1/2 cup shredded parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup croutons
  • 1 head romaine lettuce
  • 3 burrito size tortillas

Instructions

  • In a bowl, combine flour, seasoning, and cornstarch.
  • In a separate bowl, beat the eggs until combined.
  • Place each chicken strip in the flour mixture, then the beaten eggs, and then back into the flour coating in each process.
  • Place the chicken strips in the air fryer and spray the basket with oil. Cook on 380 F for 8 minutes, flip, and cook for 3 more minutes.
  • Chop and wash the lettuce, and add it to a bowl with salad dressing, cheese, and croutons.
  • On a tortilla wrap, spoon 1/2 cup of salad mixture and add 3-4 chicken strips. Roll into a burrito and serve.

Notes

  • Apart from adding crispy onions, you can use panko breadcrumbs for the chicken coating for that extra crunch. 
  • You can use different sauce options for this wrap, such as bbq sauce, sriracha mayo, garlic sauce, or honey mustard. 
  • For an extra hint of freshness and zing, add a pinch of black pepper and a squeeze of lemon juice to the Caesar salad mixture.
