Equipment

  • Large mixing bowl
  • Rolling Pin
  • Small bowl
  • Air Fryer

Ingredients

  • 2 pie crusts
  • 1 1/2 cups Nutella
  • 1/2 tablespoon vanilla
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup chocolate sprinkles

Instructions

  • In a mixing bowl, mix the sugar, milk and vanilla. Set aside.
  • On a flat floured surface, roll out the pie crust and cut out 3” x 4” rectangles.
  • Two rectangles make one pop tart. Place 1-2 tablespoons of Nutella in the center of a rectangle and spread it out leaving a 1/4” edge.
  • In a cup or a bowl, beat the egg to create an egg wash. Wash the edge of the rectangle with the egg and place top rectangle on. Press out the air and seal the edges. Using a fork or a crimper, crimp the edges of the pop tart.
  • Brush the top of the pop tart with the egg wash and using a toothpick, poke air holes.
  • Place tart in an oiled air fryer basket and cook on 350° for 6 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Let cool to room temp and then ice and sprinkle the tart.
