- 2 pounds chuck roast
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon pepper
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
- ½ tablespoon parsley
- 1 can beef broth
- 1 cup sliced banana peppers with juice
Serve with:
- Hard rolls
- Provolone cheese slices
Place the chuck roast in the bowl of the crock pot. Season with salt, garlic powder, onion powder, pepper, parsley, and Italian seasoning.
Pour beef broth around the meat.
Top meat with banana peppers and juice.
Cook on high for 3 to 4 hours or low for six hours.
Shred the meat with a fork and then return the meat to the pot and stir to combine it with the juices.
Serve on a hard roll topped with provolone cheese and additional banana peppers (optional).
