Saute ground beef and garlic in Instant Pot until browned; drain.

Wash, peel, and slice potatoes into ¼-inch slices.
4-5 russet potatoes
Mix Italian seasoning, paprika, salt, and pepper in a small bowl.

Layer 1/3 of the potatoes, 1/3 of the ground beef, 1/2 cup of cheese, and 1/3 of the seasoning mix; repeat layers 2 more times.

Pour chicken broth over the layers.

Secure lid and set valve to sealing.
Set the Instant Pot to manual high pressure for 15 minutes.
Once the Instant Pot beeps, do a quick release of the pressure. When the pressure is fully released, carefully remove the lid.
Serve immediately.
