Air Fryer Monte Cristo Sandwiches

If you love crispy and cheesy sandwiches then this is the sandwich for you.

  • Parchment paper
  • Mixing bowl

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups pancake mix
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup raspberry jelly
  • 16 slices Swiss cheese
  • 20 slices ham
  • 8 slices Texas toast

Instructions

  • Mix milk, water, vanilla and pancake mix together in a bowl. Make sure batter is thick, add pancake mix to thicken.
  • Assemble the sandwich like this: bread, 2 slices of cheese, 5 slices of ham, 2 slices of cheese and bread.
  • Using toothpicks, stab the corners of the sandwich to lock both slices of bread together.
  • Dip the sandwich in the batter on both sides and place sandwich in a lined air fryer basket.
  • Cook on 370 for 7 minutes, flip and cook for 3 minutes.
  • Remove and serve with powdered sugar dusting and dip in some jelly.
