Ingredients

  • 8 oz package of cream cheese softened
  • 4 oz crab meat
  • 2 tablespoons low sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons chopped green onions
  • small wonton wrappers

Instructions

  • Start by chopping crab meat in a food processor until it’s finely chopped.
  • In a medium-sized mixing bowl, place the cream cheese, crab, soy sauce, and green onion. Mix on a low setting and mix for 3 minutes or until fully incorporated.
  • Then, get a piece of wonton wrapper and place one teaspoon of crab mixture at the center of the wonton wrapper. To seal the wonton wrapper, dip a fingertip into some water or egg wash and lightly coat the edges of the wrapper.
  • Pull together the sides of the wrapper to the middle and then seal the sides together with water while letting all the air escape so that it won’t balloon up while air frying and burst open.
  • Place Rangoon in the air fryer basket and spray with nonstick oil or olive oil to ensure that the wrappers don’t stick to the air fryer basket. Cook at 370 degrees for 10 minutes or until golden brown. Then, transfer to a serving dish and enjoy!
