Ingredients
  • 10 slices bread
  • 1 cup blueberries
  • 6 eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups whole milk or cream
  • 2 Tablespoons sugar
  • 1 Tablespoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon coarse salt
  • Powdered sugar or maple syrup for serving
Instructions
  1. Cut the bread into 1" cubes and place in a buttered/greased 8x8 casserole dish. Sprinkle blueberries over the bread pieces.

  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, sugar, cinnamon, and salt. Set aside.
  3. Pour the egg mixture over the bread cubes and blueberries; cover.
  4. Refrigerate 30 minutes or overnight.
  5. When ready to bake, preheat the oven to 325F and bake for 45 minutes, until the eggs are set and the bread is golden brown.
Recipe Notes

Note: If you want to use a 9x13 plan, simply double the ingredients and add 10 minutes to the cook time.
