I received this product free in exchange for my honest review.
I remember when I was a teenager, noting that the bags that appeared under my mom’s eyes when she was tired started to appear on a regular basis, even when she was well rested. They would usually disappear during the day but come morning, would be right there beneath her eyes again. Eventually, the bags stopped fading away during the day and it was the first real sign of aging in my mother.
I wish I hadn’t noticed this. I wish I didn’t care. But the truth is, though I don’t want to try and convince people I’m in my 20’s, I also don’t welcome the gradual deterioration of my body and mind. As a result, I jump at any opportunity to slow the effects of aging. And knowing that, thanks to genetics, my future holds permanent bags beneath my eyes, I’m especially excited when I discover a product that will help me keep that future at bay.
Unfortunately, though I don’t have sensitive skin, I do have sensitive eyes. I’m unable to wear contact lenses because they irritate my eyes too much. Likewise, I have a difficult time finding eyeliner and mascara that doesn’t sting my eyes and cause them to water. Plus, as a visual person, I am a tad bit neurotic about things coming in contact or in the vicinity of my eyes. I don’t want permanent bags under my eyes, but I also don’t want to risk damaging my vision.
The Adeline Organic Eye Serum was the answer to my prayers. It’s made with only the most effective, natural ingredients so it’s the rare safe and gentle product that actually works!
The serum includes cucumber extract to moisturize and diminish lines and wrinkles, chamomile extract to soothe skin and reduce puffiness, and aloe leaf juice to improve collagen production (reducing the appearance of crow’s feet). It also contains sunflower seed oil to prevent free radical damage and premature aging and usa urvi leaf extract to reduce inflammation and the appearance of brown spots. Did you notice that you can pronounce all of the ingredients I just named? Pick up a box of another eye cream and see if you can say the same.
It only takes a small drop. I usually pump one dot onto my ring finger and gently dot it around each eye before massaging it in. It feels like a very thin gel when you dab it on, but when you rub it in, it feels almost like you’re rubbing in water that doesn’t evaporate away. Since the instructions said to apply before bed so it can work while you’re sleeping, I keep mine right on my bathroom counter next to my cotton balls and swabs so I remember to apply it as soon as I’ve removed my makeup.
I don’t know if you are as obsessive as me in your hunt for a fountain of youth eye cream, but if you’ve searched at all, you know how expensive they can be. The Adeline Organic Eye Serum is very reasonably priced, especially given how long it lasts. The picture above was taken after I had used the product every day for an entire month. As you can see, the bottle is still almost full. This bottle will easily last me 6 months, and probably much longer.
Overall, I think this product is a great value for what it delivers. And for those with sensitive skin or eyes, or if you just like to know exactly what is in the products you put in and on your body, this is an excellent choice to prevent or reduce signs of aging around your eyes.
