Relax!! We do share more than you realize. I think might be a little racist. It also seems to me like a lot of Puerto Rican men like Mexican women. Southern Mexico is in the Caribbean. They have many Caribbean dishes that PR also enjoys. I hope you come and visit Mexico soon. The Mexican people are kind and loving, obviously hardworking. Con mucho amor.

The only thing in common that they share is a language, even then the dialects are vastly different. Please do not refer to Puerto Rican food as Mexican anything- Latinos are not a monolith.
