Easy Homemade Nutter Butter Ice Cream

This easy homemade Nutter Butter ice cream is a no brainer for people who love peanut butter. Making sweetened condensed ice cream recipes is one of my favorite weekend activities and this one is amazing!

WHY USE NUTTER BUTTER’S IN ICE CREAM?

If you have never used store bought cookies in a homemade ice cream recipe you have been missing out. There are tons of different ways you can make homemade ice cream using cookies.

If you want a peanut buttery taste then Nutter Butter cookies are the way to go.

They are easy to crumble up in the ice cream and they bring the peanut butter flavor I am looking for.

I also have been known to scoop ice cream out of the bowl using a Nutter Butter cookie, LOL! It’s great when a cookie has multiple uses!

INGREDIENTS FOR NUTTER BUTTER ICE CREAM

I love using recipes that have a limited number of ingredients. This easy homemade Nutter Butter ice cream recipe only has four ingredients!

The hardest part for me is getting the ice cream made before the Nutter Butter cookies are GONE!

HOW TO MAKE EASY HOMEMADE NUTTER BUTTER COOKIES

Simple and quick recipes are the best for busy moms. The fact that I can serve my family homemade ice cream and it only takes minutes to put together (minus freezing time) makes my heart happy!

STEP ONE: MIX INGREDIENTS

Start off by putting the heavy cream into a large bowl and beat until thick. I like using a stand mixer for this recipe, but a hand mixer will also work.

Once the heavy cream is thick slowly add in the sweetened condensed milk and vanilla and fold in until it is smooth.

STEP TWO: LAYER

Grab your freezer safe container and pour half the ice cream mixture into the container.

Sprinkle half of the crumbled Nutter Butter cookies on top of this layer.

Now pour the remaining ice cream mixture on top of the cookies.

Top with the remaining cookie crumbles.

STEP THREE: FREEZE

Place the container in the freezer for 5-6 hours or overnight. When it is frozen and you are ready to serve the ice cream, remove it from the freezer and let it sit on the counter for 5-10 minutes to soften.

Store any leftover ice cream in the freezer.
