Place the pinwheels in the fridge for at least 20–30 minutes (or even in the freezer for about 10 minutes) - this firms them up so they hold their shape better when you poke in the pretzel. Then, take a pretzel stick and gently twist it through the center of each pinwheel rather than forcing it straight down. Go slowly so you don’t tear the tortilla or push out the filling. Use your fingers to support the pinwheel edges as you push the pretzel through so it stays together.

Finally easy, simple kids lunch ideas that don’t break the bank!!! I mean seriously… I’m not going to be serving pesto chicken caprese salad that’s sprinkled with micro-greens into my kids’ lunch boxes. Those will not only break the food budget, take forever, and then my kids will never eat it. I love how realistic you are. Chicken nuggets, cold cereal with string cheese, pizza bagels… yes, yes, and yes!!!
