In reply to Heather Vail. Hi Heather! Another reader caught that we had a typo in the ingredient list. It's supposed to be 2 1/4 cups flour, not 3/4. THAT is why they spread out so much! Glad the flavor was there. With the added flour, they should have more substance and hold their shape.

I love these! Mine didn’t turn out anything like yours though – they spread out, are very thin and kind of chewy, sort of like a lace cookie. I thought I followed instructions as directed – any idea what I could have done wrong?

3/4 cup of flour? Nope. Has to be at least 3 cups.

In reply to Karen Dover. My packs of hot cocoa mix are 1.38 ounces. So three of them would be 4.14 ounces, which is about half a cup.

The recipe calls for three packs of hot cocoa mix, but you linked a large carton. How much is this in volume measurements?
