You are right about it being a big responsibility. I honestly don’t think any parent that realized that has any trouble being a good parent. It’s the ones who think it’s a cake walk that have me worried! Whether or not you make all the best decisions, if you always have their best interests in mind I don’t think you can go wrong.

I wish I was a better gardener! That seems like a wonderful activity to do with the kids. My daughter and I are taking a stab at growing tomatoes, peppers and strawberries. Wish us luck! And thank you for the compliment on our picture. It’s an old one (probably 6-7 years ago) but it’s my favorite of the two of us.

I lost her in a skydiving accident this year, and we had a really close bond. She was always interested in participating in the sports and events that I enjoyed, and could really rip it up on a skateboard with me before she passed. I have two kids under the age of 5 (a boy and a girl) and I am always worried if I am raising them well and are they going to grow up as responsible people. Being a parent sure is a huge responsibility. I do agree with spending some quality time with them to let them know we do love and care for them. I wasn’t a perfect kid growing up either so I am too nervous, but I am praying that God will help me raise my kids and give me more knowledge on how to raise them well.
