This month’s kindness calendar is ready! The April Acts of Kindness Calendar is full of ideas based on this month’s themes.
April Acts of Kindness Calendar Themes
The themes I pull from are a combination of meaningful awareness dates and fun, unusual holidays.
These are all just my suggestions. I print the calendar off and keep it on my office bulletin board as a visual reminder to do good each day. I do love brainstorming acts based on the themes since it gives me new ideas to spread joy to others.
This month I drew my inspiration from the following monthly themes:
- Month of the Military Child
- Keep America Beautiful Month
- National Humor Month
- National Couple Appreciation Month
- Occupational Therapy Month
In addition, there were some inspiring weekly observations in April:
- National Blue Ribbon Week (Child Abuse Prevention)
- National Volunteer Week
And also from these unique April holidays:
- April 1 – National One Cent Day
- April 4 – National School Librarian Day
- April 5 – Childhelp National Day of Hope
- April 7 – National Coffee Cake Day
- April 10 – National Siblings Day
- April 13 – National Make Lunch Count Day
- April 16 – Easter Sunday
- April 17 – National Poem in Your Pocket Day
- April 20 – National High Five Day
- April 21 – National Donate Life Blue & Green Day
- April 22 – National Earth Day
- April 25 – National Zucchini Bread Day
- April 26 – National Administrative Professionals Day
- April 28 – National Superhero Day
- April 29 – National Rebuilding Day
- April 30 – National Adopt a Shelter Pet Day
